| There are always so many frequently
asked questions! Here are a few answers to things you
may want to know...if it's not here, call Fran! |

|
What's so special about cedar? |
White cedar is naturally
resistant to decay, insect and weather damage. Cedar
has an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio,
which means that it is both durable and easy to move
about. It does not shrink or warp as many other
woods commonly do. White cedar weathers gracefully
to a silvery gray when left untreated, or can be
treated with a weather sealer, as well as primed and
painted. |

Where do you get cedar logs? |
Fran gets most of his logs right
in Vermont near his home. |

Do you do custom orders? |
Yes! Please feel free to call me
with any custom order questions. If you have
an idea, run it by me! I will be happy to talk
about your project and do my best to accommodate
you. You may also choose your stain or finish,
or what type of hinge or handle you'd like.
Just let me know your preference. |

Do you offer shipping? |
As of now, no. However, if
you are within a reasonable distance from either
Alburg, VT or Lunenburg, MA and want to pick your
order up yourself, that can be arranged. Also,
if you are too far to drive, or don't have the
appropriate vehicle, aren't into heavy lifting...we
can arrange a delivery date to get it to you! |
